If there is one thing Yves Saint Laurent knows how to do, it's shoes. Choosing a favorite pair of YSL shoes is akin to choosing a favorite jelly bean flavor or Chippendale's dancer. They're all so delicious you can't choose just one, so I have three current favorites.
When I want to look professional I still want to have a little dash of my personality thrown in there. I can't do pantsuits and plain Jane shoes the way Hilary does. My compromise is the "Lauren" platform pumps. They're butter-soft black suede with little eyelet cutouts that remind me of a flirty summer dress. The big difference here is the thin heel that says "I can and will kick you in the keister if you get in my way!"
Shoes
If you're looking for sexy stomping shoes look no further than the black leather "Trooper" platforms. They have the sole of a take-no-prisoners Army gal with the heel of a sexy, flirty party girl. The thin 4 " heel and thick, 1 " grooved sole of these platforms are the perfect balance between hardcore and soft porn. The shine of that rounded black leather will keep demerits at bay while making your commander beg for more!
My final favorite also sends a mixed message. The black patent leather "Cage" platform sandals take me back to childhood when I loved my Jellies. Almost everyone will remember those jelly shoes that came in every color imaginable. The 1/2" platform and 4" heels say "Look at me, I'm all grown up". The caged ankle and toe, on the other hand, are more reminiscent of childhood. Regardless, these shoes have "sexpot" written all over them!
While these three are my absolute favorites, Yves Saint Laurent has plenty of sexy, professional, and fun styles to choose from!
