Mens Boxing Shoes From Everlast

Any kind of discomfiture in the footwear we use will lead to a lot of unrest in the mind until we take the shoes off. And the same applies to mens boxing shoes too. As the sport calls for a lot of concentration and simultaneous line of attack on the opponent, boxers must see to it that all the boxing gear that they use including the shoes is of the perfect make and gives them absolute comfort. That is one of the prime reasons why Everlast shoes have become a hit with both the men and women boxers.

Everlast has a great variety under the mens shoes segment and it is for them to choose between the lo top boxing shoes or the hi-top boxing shoes. Everlast shoes are known for giving adequate breathing and vent for the feet so that sweat does not buildup quickly, during training or competition. As boxing is a heat exuding activity from head to toe, sufficient aeration and cooling has to be provided and that is done efficiently and effectively through the breathable air vents that come with the lo top shoes or any boxing shoes that come from Everlast.

The lo top shoes come in pure leather manufactured with hi-tech rubber formula that provide the much required traction for training and combat sparring. The rubber sole with the anti-slip pattern safeguards during aggressive kicking and swift footwork, and the heel counter, which is made out of molded thermo plastic, holds very securely the rear foot and facilitates lightening swiftness in footwork during the competition.

Coming in with the right comfort levels in the form of cushioning and shock absorption, the mens shoes from Everlast are a great investment for serious boxers as they last a very long time.

155 Pairs of Shoes

"Penny" needed to get her home organized from her move about 4 years ago. Yes... 4 years ago. She had injured herself right before the move, then never caught up on unpacking and dealing with, "what did my sister do with my [blank]?"

Penny loves her shoes. And the goal today was to get all of them in one closet. She had them in two closets and her garage. Her sister just didn't know what to do, so just stacked them in the garage for her to deal with later.

First things first: How to organize the shoes? I removed everything from Penny's closet. Separating the shoes into similar color and style. Then brought in the shoes from a second closet and all the shoes from the garage. Whew! That's a lot of shoes.

Penny has a difficult time bending over, so I suggested a couple shoe shelves for her closet. These would be great to store her boots, plus it raises the height of her shoes on the floor.

She came in after all was sorted and began to help me decide which shoes stay and which ones go. If they never felt comfortable, worn out or she could no longer wear, they were gone.

Penny probably got rid of about 25-30 pairs. Plus, she found shoes that she has not even worn yet and they still look great and fit. What a difference!

Now, Penny knows what shoes she does have and where they are at. She feels so much better now that this task is completed.

I have 29 pairs of shoes. How many pairs of shoes do you have?

Understanding the Health Benefits of Earth Origin Shoes

Are you familiar with Earth Origin shoes? Just like all other shoes of the same brand, you will enjoy the same health benefits offered by Earth's Kalso Negative Heel Technology with Earth Origin shoes. These shoes are basically design to encourage healthy living. They promote proper posture when walking, sitting, running or standing.

Explaining Earth Origin Shoes and Their Benefits

If you have ever tried wearing shoes from this brand before, then you probably know the positive effects of using shoes of this brand. When you buy Earth footwear, you get to enjoy numerous health benefits. First of all, you wouldn't have to suffer incorrect body posture or alignment every time you wear Earth brand shoes. These shoes have inclined soles inserted in them. This is to ensure that your toes will be placed slightly higher than your heels when you walk, run or stand. Unlike other shoes, your center of gravity does not change. Your weight is carried by your heels. The theory is that this is the correct way of carrying your weight.

What are the effects of this?

Basically, the first thing that you would likely notice is the absence of back, feet or calves pain. Many women also claim that they noticed a significant tightening of feet muscles. They also noticed firmer thighs. Many also claim that they noticed significant weight loss. Actually, this is not impossible. The designer of the Negative Heel Technology claims that you really can lose weight by wearing negative heel shoes or any other Earth footwear. You tend to burn calories when you walk or run wearing these shoes. You can compare this to walking uphill or on a treadmill. The inclined position forces your feet to use muscle, so you are losing weight without actually sweating.

The Shoes to Look Out For

If you are looking for Earth Origin shoes, there are some designs that you should definitely check out. You can start with Earth Origin Anna, a comfortable footwear that features moccasin-like design. You should also check out Earth Origin Reese, particularly the black one. This is the kind of footwear that can definitely keep up with you and your busy lifestyle.

If you are looking for Earth sandals, you should check out Earth Origin Sonja. This is great for warm weather. You can easily match this pair of sandals with practically everything.

There are still other shoes that you can check out. Now, if you really want to give your feet the shoes they deserve, you should get your Earth Origin shoes now.

The Best Ballet Wear in Ballet Shoes and Pointe Shoes

Traditional ballet teachers can seem fussy about the dress code in their studios. There is a reason for this.

When a teacher is looking over a class in motion, visual clutter needs to be at a minimum. Black leotards and pink tights are a good uniform landscape for the teacher.

The black of the leotard emphasizes the line of the posture, the upper back and neck suppleness/tension, the hip/leg break and alignment correctness, and makes it easiest to respond to what is seen with ongoing and detailed corrections.

For instance, it is easy to see, even across a large studio, if the back of the thigh is not pulled up as needed, if the dancer is wearing pink tights. The line of the muscles is hidden in dark tights. It is also easy to see bulky tension in thigh muscles that should be more elongated.

Distractions such as multi-colored clothing, and sloppy leg warmers prevent the teacher from being at their top efficiency,

Just like office folk get to wear more casual clothes to work on Fridays, my student-day classes were allowed to wear colored leotards and black tights on Saturdays. We pushed it, and came to class with bright leg warmers, print head bands and jewelry just bigger than the allowed tiny stud pierced earrings. We were always asked to remove the tiniest of neck chains.

Of course there were always cold winter days when sweaters and body-length woolies were necessary. And it's not like a teacher can't see plain bad placement through all that, but finer details are hidden.

The artistry of ballet depends on the ultra-perfectionistic and over-idealized form being sought, and then being surrendered to an allowing energy flow, that releases expression and drama.

I wish I could say that a better, but all I'm really talking about is that the norm for strict ballet wear that any ballet store provides, ultimately supports the best results for ballet exercises, ballet for weight loss, ballet strengthening regimens, pointe work et al, as it allows the teacher to see what's going on in a large class full of diverse talent.

Juicy Couture Kids Shoes - These Shoes Are Too Cool For School

One of the most enjoyable pastimes any child can have is playing in their mothers shoes. Perhaps not so much the boys, but definitely the girls! Playing at dress up and day dreaming about the time when you could have the same shoes, shoes with heels and shiny buckles! Well those days have arrived for the children of today with the advent of the launch of the Juicy Couture brand. Juicy Couture kids shoes in many instances are exact replicas of the adult shoes available in this fashion line.

Talk about being too cool for school, in these shoes, that is exactly what you kids will be. Although you will be hard put to impress on you kids that they can't wear these shoes for school, they will want to wear them everywhere, everyday. The names behind the Juicy Couture brand, Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor live in Pacoima, California and initially when they launched their fashion label, they wanted to make it affordable for everyone. But things changed fast and now it is one of the most exclusive labels available.

The brand took of virtually overnight when the ladies thought it would be cool to send Madonna one of their track suites. They had Madge embroidered on it, and although they rarely use the "Madge" slogan now. It did the job! Madonna liked the track suit and was seen wearing it, and the rest as they say is history.

In the beginning the brand was quite limited, they did not have their own flagship store and there line was marketed though various big name department stores. Now they have their own flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York as well as stores in, Texas, Atlanta, Washington DC, Chicago, and wait for it....Kuwait, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Hong Kong, Milan, Tokyo and Shanghai.

It is not only shoes in the kids range of Juicy Couture, you will find clothing, belts, hats and scarves, book bags, jewelry, watches, case wallets and so much more. The kids are clamoring for this range, they absolutely love it!

Although Juicy Couture has found itself in trouble because of the slogans they use, then never stick to anyone slogan. However parents and various organizations have objected to the fact that they have the word "Juicy" sewn across the seat of the pants and have mention that it could be perceived to be provocative or sexual in nature.

I say leave the prudes to their meanderings if they have nothing better to do. I am buying my kids this label if they want it, I like it too! If you don't want to buy it, you have not right to stop anyone else from doing so.

The footwear range for kids in this label is in both shoes and boots. The Mariska pumps are divine and any little girl will both feel and look really smart wearing them. There is noting provocative about these shoes; they are elegant, fashionable and stylish. True shoes which are fit for a princess!

Why I Love Italian Designer Shoes

Italian designer shoes are always in style! With today's changing fashions it can be tough figuring out what type as well as style to purchase and wear. But it doesn't have to be when you purchase and wear quality! Quality never goes out of style. Even with a different style, quality brings a classic look to every wardrobe. And you can be assured; classic quality will never go out of style.

Smart dressers do not follow trends blindly. Instead, they purchase the aspect of a particular trend that appeals to them and incorporate it into their existing wardrobe. I love Italian designer shoes in particular because of their finely crafted detailing. but also because of the consistent, exceptional quality. That means I'll be wearing the best, most intricately designed pair of shoes with classic looks that will not fall flat with my wardrobe. In any style I choose!

In reviewing Italian designer shoe maker, Gianna Meliani, it is discovered that Gianna designs and takes care of her own collection. Her collection is completely produced in Italy, by the shoe factory Gemini, that belongs to Bruno Meliani, Gianna's father. The shoe factory Gemini, was born in 1971 and passing through many legal transformations, is now completely administrated by Mr. Bruno Meliani.

The shoe making activity begins from the creation right through to the production, (cutting joining, assembling) and commercializing fine women's shoes. In order to produce, higher quality shoes, Gianna chooses the most precious kind of leather like calf, kidskin, python, crocodile and so on... Selectivity is what gives this and other great Italian designers an edge in the market as well as a hit with the most satisfied customers who wear them!

Gianna Meliani shoes' collection is sold everywhere in the world. The firm produces mainly the Gianna Meliani collection however; it has worked and is still working with many other famous labels such as: Anne Klein, Anne Klein II, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, Max Mara, Michael Kors, Burberry, Paul Smith and more.

"The weight of the body falls on the arch like a plumb line" - wrote Ferragamo, a company which designs shoes, winning the "Neiman Marcus Award" the Oscar of the fashion world and has been in the shoemaking business since 1925. Salvatore Ferragamo a designing shoemaker in Italy is an example of Italian attention to detailing quality in designer shoe wear. You can search the world over and find the absolute best, comes only from Italy. This company became an essential stop off for personalities such as Greta Garbo, Sofia Loren, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor and Audrey Hepburn who all had their shoes made to measure there. Ferragamo saw machinery production as indispensable for the less elaborate work but believed all the rest should be done by hand and under strict human supervision.

No other shoe designers can the world compare to the Italian designers exclusivity in creating the highest quality, detailed, designer shoes. No other companies can compare their history with any favorable measure to the Italian design shoemakers in Italy.

Yes the complete attention to detail in design along with the highest quality of materials and craftsmanship is why I love Italian designer shoes!

Tennis Shoes - Fashion Or Comfort?

For years tennis shoes have been used for sports, exercise and many other different activities. For quite a long time, however, they were simply plain with no design on them. Now, things are rapidly changing and over the past decade they are worn for just about anything.

Although some of the newer styled sneakers are comfortable, now there are several extras as part of a unique design. Does people wear them today for fashion or comfort? The answer is basically both. Many individuals wear them as an everyday activity because they do consider them comfortable.

Research has been done on several different brands, styles, and pairs of tennis shoes, as well as surveys to see what people really want. You would be amazed at the end result. Fashion sneakers have become a trend. They are worn with pride and with clothing that is dressy.

Fashion designers are diligently working to make trainers fashionable and comfortable, as well as affordable. The overall industry of shoes that are sold is overwhelming, to say the least. In fact, recent studies show that the sales of tennis shoes are much higher than other brands such as boots or formal footwear.

Sneakers can also be purchased via the Internet from a wide variety of web sites. Many of the web sites offer photos as well as descriptions of the sneakers and sizes too. The decision of whether these shoes are really purchased for comfort or fashion now is a close race. For individuals now, fashion and comfort in tennis shoes are both important.

There are fashionable trainers in the market industry today that can literally be worn with clothing outfits that are stylish and classy. Not to mention, an individual who exercises find that tennis shoes are really comfortable. So, the two concepts essentially coincide together.

Sneakers are all over the world and the industry is at an all time high. When the concept of athletic shoes first appeared in the 1950's the idea was for bettering sports events. However, over time the tennis shoes era took leaps and bounds into not only the comfort world but the fashion world as well.

People of all ages wear tennis shoes. There are even tennis shoes designed and created for infants and toddlers! Using the highest quality materials, many companies design the sneakers to be long lasting too.

Good tennis shoes don't have to be expensive in order for them to be fashionable. And, they don't have to be "dull" looking for the sneakers to be comfortable. Athletic shoes are just the kind of footwear that can be worn with anything these days. Tennis shoes are ultimately the trend in footwear and the designs as well as styles are literally endless. There are so many brands of tennis shoes available on the market industry today, that individuals can find exactly what they want.

Affordable Running Shoes

Finding the perfect pair of running shoes could be a very daunting task for you most especially if you are the type of person who is actually very particular with the pair that he or she will use. If you come to think of it, running shoes could be regarded as a very ordinary footwear. However, because famous brands continue to develop running shoes into not only stylish footwear but also relatively functional, people's demands and requirements for it continues to grow nonetheless.

You are probably aware of the many different brands out there when it comes to running shoes. These brands have been with the shoe industry for so many years now and other than simply paying for the pair of shoes you buy from these famous brands, you are also paying for the brand itself.

The marketing strategy behind famous brands is simple. They other start small and get out big or they start big and leave a big impact on their consumers. Sadly though, not everyone could afford these branded and relatively expensive pairs of rubber shoes. So if you cannot afford it, does that mean you are no longer entitled to having at least a good pair? Of course not.

What you can do is wait for shoe stores to hold their special sale. You would be surprised to see that even the latest styles are discounted whenever there is a sale and the discount and really huge. What used to be a very expensive pair becomes a very affordable one that you can even have enough money to buy two pairs.

Running Shoes

In ancient Greece, the running of the marathon was begun accidentally when a messenger ran 26 miles from the battle field to his king to relate a message from the warrior in charge of the troops. After he had given the king his message, he died. The king heard what he needed, though, and the battle raged on. Today, with runners, they usually do not die, unless they are not trained well to control their heart rate and pace themselves during the race. Many runners today have specialized training routines and diets which they believe help them perform at their best during the races. They also have specialized equipment which allows them to run as quickly and with as little resistance as possible.

The runner's shoes are the most important part of this special equipment. The average runner who is training for a marathon should not just go into Target and buy the cheapest pair of running shoes they can find, and then train with them. First, they may not offer the protection and support that the runner's feet need. Second, there are different needs for different feet and the cheapest shoes may end up exasperating those needs, especially if that runner makes the excuse that the shoes just need to be broken in, instead of buying the right pair.

So, here are some tips to help a runner find that specific pair of shoes which are perfect for them.

Tip one: the runner needs to understand and know the shape of their feet and the arc. The normal way that people walk is to hit the heel on the outside of the foot and roll the pressure of the step up the foot to the ball of the foot. This pressure should be distributed evenly. If the runner over exaggerated the pressure of the foot, it could lead to needing a shoe that will correct this step and even out the pressure of the foot.

The second tip is to know what type of foot the runner has by knowing the runner's arc height. A store professional can help the runner with this, or doing a "wet test" can also provide this information.

Third, determine how long the runner's step is. This will help determine what kind of ankle support and arc support the runner will need.

Fourth, the choice of the shoe should match the needs of the runner's feet, their arc support, and the size of their step.

Fifth, if in doubt, visit the local running store and ask a professional for help. Not only will they have all these tips answered for the runner, but they will be able to give the runner the shoe that will protect their feet and keep them safe. The last tip is to make sure the running shoes fit. Try them on and take a walk or job around the store. Take your time in making sure they are comfortable. Remember, you will be wearing these at least 26 miles, so get the ones that make your feet feel the best.

Cycling Shoe Fitting Guide - Comfortable Pedaling Through Appropriate Cycling Shoes

Cycling is a fun and productive activity that can contribute to your overall fitness needs. The right shoes can contribute to achieving your purpose for cycling so make sure that you are wearing the right ones. For starters, here is a cycling shoe fitting guide to help you out.

The shoes for cycling

First of all, cycling shoes are different from other athletic shoes because they have unpadded and stiff soles that allow you to transfer energy more efficiently from your feet to the pedals. The soles also have cleats that are specially placed on the area where you are likely to step on the pedals so you can have a better grip on them. A cycling shoe fitting guide tells you that you should wear a pair that is fit snugly with ventilated uppers for more comfort without reducing your feel of the pedal.

Know the pedals

Buy your cycling shoes according to your type of pedal since most cycling shoes are designed based on the current pedal models available. These shoes are not designed for walking or running because of the sole's construction and the cleats. However, there are manufacturers making their cycling shoes more adaptable for pedalling and walking. These shoes now have removable paddings and softer soles.

Fitting the shoe

In this cycling shoe fitting guide, you are advised to buy your shoes in the afternoon or nighttime when your feet are usually bigger or swollen. Just make sure that the shoes fit properly on your feet. While they should be tighter compared to your regular shoes, never make them too tight to prevent proper blood circulation. Make sure that there is still extra room for your toes to stretch out or curl.

Shoes that are easy to adjust with snap-ons and Velcro straps should be easy to wear and remove to ensure a snugger fit. Also, make sure that you choose a pair that is suitable for typical pedals. Those with cleat slots above and below the arch and on the toes should be good.

My Shoes

Last week I was invited to a friends hen night. Although we are friends we're not partially close so I was very happy that she invited me on her hen night as she only invited a selected few. The hen night will be held next month and will be at a wine tasting evening in Berkshire. I thought this was a lovely idea for a hen night as it should be unique and private. and we will then have a meal at the vineyard.

We will be walking around some of the vineyard so although I want to have shoes which will be comfy as it may be undulated ground I also want to be in keeping with the upper class vineyard. I decided I would look online as I didn't want to waste my weekends hiking through the high streets as my spare time is very valuable. I found a great website which had over 50 years experience with designing comfortable shoes they have got it down to a perfect shoe! I've purchased a fantastic pair of shoes which are not only comfortable as they have additional padding but they look absolutely fantastic!

Furthermore I found the site through a fantastic comparison site and saved money on voucher codes and a cash back option. With the money I saved I'm going to buy a gorgeous necklace to match my shoes!

As I had such a good experience with this company I would recommend to anybody looking for shoes online to use the website I used. Not only did I find that the shoes where so nice and comfortable but they where reasonable prices and I had the option of using a voucher code and cash back option.

I truly believe a night can be spoilt by uncomfortable shoes as you can end up in misery from painful feet. By spending the extra money on shoes that are comfortable you can enjoy your evening and make sure you are not damaging you body. By constantly wearing high heels you can damage you bone structure and the conclusion can be having surgery to correct this so make sure you purchase shoes that will help prevent this!

Breaking In Pointe Shoes - How to Speed Up the Process

In many ways, Pointe shoes epitomize ballet and performance arts. It's that pink satin shoe with the ribbons that conjure up visions of popular ballet standards and performing arts meccas. Whether you've just went on pointe or you've been performing for years, breaking in new point shoes can be painful work. In order to have a pleasant, blister free dancing experience you're going to have to break them in, forming the shoe to your feet so it can support your feet while you dance. While nothing takes place of natural form fitting over time, there are a few ways you can speed up the process.

Barre Work

Wearing your shoes can be on the best ways to break them in. That said, some movements and steps are more useful than others. To really break in those shoes get to the barre and start doing some work. Plies and releves are extremely useful as are knee bends followed directly by points. While you're doing this you want to focus on the movement of your foot and try to roll from heel to toe as often as possible, this will help break in various parts of the shoe.

Apply Moisture

Since the center of your shoe is made to soften as it comes in contact with moisture some dancer believe that this can be used to help soften the shoe. Apply some water to parts of your shoe that may present the most problems like the pinky and big toe area. Do this before you dance so that it forms to your feet while you dance. You can also use rubbing alcohol instead of water to achieve the same effect. Professional dancers advise against dipping the entire shoe into water to speed up the process.

Shoe Massage

Sound silly? Believe it or not, giving your shoe a little TLC in the form of a massage can help speed of the process. Starting with the tips of the shoe, rub and press on the shoe to soften the plaster like substance. Focus your time on the shank of the shoe as well as the sides. While this is a great technique, practice caution. Since the shoe is not on your foot you will be able to manipulate it in several ways you normally would not be able to. This can lead inexperienced dancers to break the arch of the shoe by bending it completely or over massage the box leading to a lack of support.

Ask Around

Not every pointe shoe is made the same way, therefore, some methods may work better than others for your particular pair. By asking experienced dancers, your instructor, or even the person who sold you the shoes, you may learn a technique that will work particularly well for your shoe or foot. These individuals will also be able to give you tips on what methods do not work.

The longer you dance the more personalized your pointe shoe break in routine will become. For dancers that have graced the stage for years, breaking in pointe shoes becomes another skill necessary for the job. Pay attention to what does and does not work for you so you can come up with a break-in strategy that is curtailed to your personal needs.

Why Italian Shoes Are Often Expensive

When I think about Italian shoes I immediately have images of stylish, handmade footwear. These are shoes that will really have a big impact on your appearance. There's no doubt, however, that they can tend to be rather expensive.

This article takes a closer look at footwear from this European country. In particular, I look to tackle the whole question of why Italian shoes should be more expensive than many alternatives. To get a few ideas, let us look at some typical characteristics of Italian shoes.

The first thing to note is the materials used in their production. They'll often be made from high quality materials, including leather and suede. Such materials are chosen because they look great and offer your feet plenty of protection. But are such materials cheap?

Unfortunately, they are considerably more expensive than the synthetic alternatives that you often see in cheaper shoes. This means that, when you buy a pair of Italian shoes, you'll be paying a premium. The higher price reflects the fact that you'll be buying shoes made from better materials.

But what about the process of their manufacture? The very best Italian shoes will be handmade. There's a real skill to making a great pair of shoes. Once again, this will add to the price that you pay. It's possible to get cheaper shoes made in factories in other countries of the world. Labour costs are likely to be lower elsewhere.

You need to ask yourself whether you'd be happy to accept shoes of a lower standard. If you would then you can certainly pay less by avoiding Italian footwear.

These shoes are made to high standards, using some of the finest materials. That means that they're made to last, but it also means that they will usually be more expensive. You need to decide whether you're happy to pay more for shoes of a superior quality.

Sexy High Heels - Shoes That Make a Statement

Sexy High Heels have been around for ages and women continue to buy them for all sorts of occasions. Almost from the first formal occasion a girl attends the issue of her shoes and what is age appropriate begins. High heels are available in heel heights ranging from three inches up to five inches and then you enter the area of fetish heels which means heels of six inches which rarely see the light of day. The sheer size of the women's shoe industry attests to many women's desire to own and wear new styles of shoes on a regular basis.

What should you look for when buying sexy high heels? First of all consider the heel height and what you are going to be wearing the shoes for. Women who are on the short side may be purchasing the shoes not so much because they are comfortable but they simply want to be taller and a pair of flats or kitty heels won't work for that purpose. When buying sexy high heels you need to consider how long you are going to be on your feet. If you work at a desk job, wear business attire all day and the extent of your walking consists of walking to the copier and back then four inch heels are perfect. If you work at a department store and are on the sales floor all day long then four inch heels won't work well. One suggestion is to buy a closed toe shoe with a two and at most three inch heel that will look great with slacks giving you a polished look without the discomfort of wearing high heels all day long.

Try a pair of wedges that have a bit of a platform and will give you some height and the platform makes up for the severe angle of high heels yet giving you the height you desire. Many women shy away from platforms although if you look through their closets you will find that many shoes are platform shoes albeit one or two inch platforms. Platforms are great for giving you height and reducing the cause of much foot and leg pain after wearing high heels. Part of the reason you have sore feet is your ankle is distorted in a pair of four or five inch heels as the single sole high heels have a wafer thin sole while the heel is providing all of the height. Platforms add height in the sole reducing the angle your foot rests at and makes the shoe more comfortable, like wedges and other platform type shoes. Many women mistakenly think platform shoes are only those stripper shoes that have the three, four and five inch platforms that make you look like a stripper when you wear them.

Don't neglect to add some of the cushion insoles to your shoes for comfort as being comfortable in your shoes can make your day. They are inexpensive, disposable and I don't understand why every woman doesn't have some in every pair of shoes she wears. Probably habit or just a failure to try the product but once you do you will probably be a believer. Needless to say be sure that the shoes you buy are in fact your size. Perhaps vanity prevents us from understanding that the size of our feet is of no consequence and our shoes need to fit properly. Many women are wearing shoes that are too small for them as they neglected to try on a larger size at the time of purchase. Always ask to try on a larger size just for comparison. The sales person won't have a problem with you making sure the shoes you buy are the right size. Just because you think you are a size 7, you may not be in the designer shoes you are buying and your feet will pay for it.

When buying shoes don't trust for a moment how the shoes look on the displays, try them on and try on shoes you don't think you will like from time to time and see if you don't surprise yourself. You lose nothing when you try on a pair of shoes and if it turns out you didn't like the way they looked send them back. Try on a pair of really high heels just to see how they look and feel. Go outside your comfort zone and be adventurous. Express yourself in the shoes you wear and don't be afraid to make a mistake unless of course you are buying $900.00 shoes and they are not returnable.

How To Buy Perfect Women's Dress Shoes

shoes that are part of formal wear are called dress shoes. These shoes make your feet look chic and elegant. The right shoes can really set off your evening attire. With properly fitting dress shoes, you can comfortably walk around and dance and have a joy-filled evening.

Most of the fashionable high-heeled shoes are uncomfortable and after wearing them for a special evening event, you will find you are left with shoe bites. These make your feet look gross and ugly.

So if you know the essential tips of buying a perfect pair of dress shoes, you will not have to wear those painful and uncomfortable pair of shoes again to your next social gathering.

Let's take a look at the most common points that all women must remember when shopping for dress shoes:

a. It is recommended that you go for 2- inch kitten style heels, which are much firmer and hassle-free, compared to high-heels. Don't worry, like those 4 inch heels, these will also make your feet look sexy but will help you to maintain a better posture. Thus you can spend a lovely evening at ease.

b. If you are looking for fashion, comfort with heels, then wedge heels could be the most ideal pick. These are high-heeled yet very comfortable to walk around in.

c. If money is not an issue for you, then go for high quality, genuine leather shoes. The genuine leather retains the perfect shape of your feet and is always superior to the man-made materials.

d. It is important for you to decide which dress you are going to wear. Only after that do you go about matching shoes. If you find it hard to match a pair of shoes to the color of your outfit, then pick a complimentary color shoe. Classic black dress shoes set the standard for evening attire and they match any dark shade dress. However, you can always go for the soft colors like ivory if your dress is a pastel shade. The soft, warm ivory is always a better choice than pure white.

e. If you want to spend a painless evening, don't buy shoes with straps. They might look appealing but after wearing them for a while, they will start hurting your feet. As a result, the enjoyment of the evening will disappear. So it is better to choose strapless dress shoes, which have a long, sleek look with enclosed toes. Wearing this type of shoes will indeed make your feet look chic.

f. Consider every aspect carefully when buying dress shoes. If you buy the wrong kind of shoes it will spoil the look you want to create. While selecting the perfect pair of dress shoes, you want to be sure that they have soft linings.

g. Last but definitely not the least, the shoes must be properly fitted. Do not be in such a hurry that you buy a size that is either too small or too large.

It is very essential that you to spend the time needed to find the perfect pair of dress shoes. Keeping the above tips in mind while shoe hunting will definitely bring the results you want. You will not regret the time and money spent.

Boxing Shoes - The New Workout Shoes

For many people who are heavily committed to staying in shape through diet and exercise, boxing shoes have become the new workout shoes. When you look around in any gym or health club you are likely to spot many dedicated exercisers wearing these shoes as they work out. It really should not be a huge surprise as these shoes are meant to encourage quite a bit of action on the part of the wearer.

Consider what is true about boxing shoes and you may understand even more easily why people would choose to use them as workout shoes. For one thing, they fit your feet like gloves that were made just for them. This avoids any heavy or weighted down feeling in the feet whether jogging in place, walking on the treadmill, or simply doing exercises that require lifting your feet. They enable you to move about more easily during your workout.

Secondly, there is enough traction on the bottom of these boxing shoes so that you do not slip and fall during a particularly active workout. This traction is provided either through a rubber sole or a non-slip pattern. It is your choice which of these will work better for you. However, you will be able to execute any moves you need to during your workout without worrying about slipping and falling.

Last, but certainly not least, there is the ventilation offered by boxing shoes. You are guaranteed that your feet will remain cool and comfortable during your workout no matter how active you are. This is vital for boxers and it is just as vital for people working out. If your feet are hot and sweaty, you will start sliding around in your shoes and your hot feet will make the rest of your body uncomfortable. Therefore, good ventilation is a must and is provided in just the right amount with these shoes.

Are You A Slave To Money?

If you have ever done something or gone somewhere you did not want to, just because you have paid for the tickets and could not get your money back, then you have been a slave to money.

What is your relationship to money? Is money your comfort, your god, your friend, your master, servant, lover?

In a sense money does 'talk'.

In English, Japanese, Taiwanese or French, two simple words 'How much?' and an open wallet can get you round most of the world. In a capitalist system we need money to function and a big part of you is the way you handle, control, manage, lose, fritter, invest, eat, burn, love, hate or worry about money.

The things money can buy have probably defined your experience of holidays, birthdays, Christmas; alongside which reside some of your most deep seated memories, and values. For example, were you brought up to 'get your money's worth'? What happens now when you fail to get value for money--do you end up feeling cheated or 'ripped off'?

Think about the things money symbolises to you. When you were a child, what were the conditions of pocket money? Did money bring you joy and happiness, love, entrapment, resentment or fear?

As an adult, what is your definition of waste or extravagance? I have friends at either end of the scale when it comes to grocery shopping. One buys a lot of sausages and cheap mince and prides herself on her economy; the other spares no expense and buys exotic fruit, fresh salmon and expensive, lean cuts of meats without exception. Her argument is you can buy a lot of quality food for the price of a triple heart by-pass or a mobility scooter!

What does prosperity mean to you? Some financial advisers advocate that you save $3.50 a day (the cost of a cup of coffee) so you can reap the benefits of compounding interest and retire in moderation years later. I was inclined to agree with this advice until the day I realised that having the disposable cash and time to enjoy a bought coffee a day was prosperity. It was neither a wasted opportunity to save, nor an extravagance.

Money means different things to different people, and it can buy us experiences that are unique to us.

A friend of mine told me her dream was to buy a brand new Porsche. Bridget had worked out she could afford it if she added the loan to her mortgage and paid it off over 25 years. Being financially savvy she knew the real cost of the car but said it was something she just wanted to do in her lifetime so the expense would be worth it. When I found out she had not yet driven one we arranged a test drive. We had only been driving five minutes when I asked her if the car 'did it for her? Was it worth it?' She replied, 'I don't know, I think I might sooner have six months skiing in Aspen.'

We discussed how she would feel returning to the workplace in order to pay for it. She told me she would not have a problem owning a better car than the General Manager but she would find it difficult going back to the boring job she had. To her that car was a metaphor for the excitement that she otherwise lacked in her life. Buying it would have provided the biggest adrenalin rush, after that it would have been down hill all the way. What she really wanted to do was break out and test her self-belief. Fortunately she realised in time that a car repayment plan was not the answer.

Traffic Generation Tactics!

No matter how cool your site is or how fabulous your product is, you're not going to generate enough sales to make your business viable unless you get traffic! You have to get the word out about your site and give people a reason to visit it.

The good news is, there are lots of ways to effectively advertise your site online and drive tons of "qualified" traffic to your site -- for free! ("Qualified" traffic consists of people who belong to your target niche market and are most likely to buy the products or services you offer -- THESE are the people you want coming to your site!)

TACTIC #10:

Use viral marketing strategies to "infect" people with
the desire to learn more about your product!

These days, viral marketing messages are spreading through the Web like wildfire. Viral marketing is any type of advertising that is "self-perpetuating," compelling people to share it with others so that it spreads through a community like a virus -- but a good one!

Hotmail.com is a textbook example of viral marketing on the Internet. Hotmail was one of the first free e-mail services on the Web. In its first one and a half years, Hotmail managed to sign up an incredible 12 million subscribers! How did it accomplish this? Simple: At the end of every e-mail, Hotmail included the following message: "Get your private, free e-mail at http://www.hotmail.com," encouraging everyone who received an e-mail to sign up for the free service themselves.

Large companies use viral marketing messages to perpetuate awareness of their brand, often by creating humorous videos or animation clips that people send to their friends for a laugh. Some smaller companies have also used this strategy successfully. An example is "Homestar Runner," a small business that's created a set of cartoon characters and animated shorts that circulate around the Web, encouraging people to visit the main site and buy the company's merchandise.

If you like to play around with video or animation, you might think about adopting this strategy to generate interest in your own product. Just keep in mind that it can be very difficult to determine the exact return on investment for viral marketing campaigns, since it's impossible to keep track of where the ad goes. This type of viral marketing is good for generating interest in your site and products, but it doesn't always translate into immediate sales.

TACTIC #9:

Use online business networking communities to hook up with other entrepreneurs for link swaps and joint marketing ventures

Business networking communities are springing up all over the Web. They're similar to dating or social networking sites, but are used by entrepreneurs to find other businesspeople with whom they can establish mutually beneficial business relationships.

Sites like these can offer great opportunities for entrepreneurs to set up joint marketing ventures with like-minded businesses, or simply to find link-swap partners who can help drive more traffic to their sites. (We'll be looking at link swapping in greater detail later on, in case you're not familiar with this effective traffic generation tactic).

Business networking communities can also help generate traffic by allowing their members to create personal profile pages with links to their main business sites. These links can improve a site's ranking with the major search engines.

If you decide to join a networking community, be sure to partner with people whose business is complementary to your own. Their site has to attract visitors who are likely to become your customers as well -- for example, it probably won't do you any good to have your all-vegetarian tofu burgers featured on a Cattle Rancher's Association site!

Here are some business networking communities you may want to check out:

Ryze

LinkedIn

AlwaysOn

Spoke

TACTIC #8:

Become a recognized "name" in your niche market by participating in newsgroups, discussion forums, or blogging networks

A great way to establish an online identity and develop relationships with your potential customer base is by taking part in newsgroups and discussion forums or starting up a blog related to your niche market. These tools can really help you communicate directly with your niche market and discover what their wants and needs are.

For example, if you sell special mountain biking shoes, spend some time hanging out in mountain biking forums -- that's where your target market's going to be! Or you could start your own blog in which you describe your latest mountain biking adventures -- complete with attention-grabbing photos, of course! You could even combine the two tactics and generate interest in your blog by mentioning it in forums and newsgroups.

However, most newsgroups, blog networks, and discussion forums do NOT allow people to blatantly advertise in them! If you want to generate traffic through these sites, the best way to do it is to offer friendly, useful advice to people who express a need for something, and then include a subtle link to your business site at the end of all your messages. If people like what you say, they may decide to visit your site and check out your products or services.

Taking part in newsgroups, forums and blogs can be very time-consuming, but can still be a great way to establish a name for yourself in your niche market.

TACTIC #7:

Get your visitors to tell their friends about you!

A good way to drive visitors to your site is to ask your existing customer base to do it for you!

There are lots of sites that offer free "tell-a-friend" buttons you can place directly on your site, in order to encourage your visitors to send e-mails to their friends telling them about your site.

If your site offers a free opt-in newsletter, contest, quiz, or "tip of the day" -- in other words, any information that people will want to share because it's fun, valuable, or exciting -- include a "send to a friend" button in that feature as well. It's a great way to get the word out about your site to as many people as possible -- and there is nothing more powerful than a personal recommendation from a friend or colleague.

TACTIC #6:

Encourage people to "get busy" with your site
with interactive traffic generators

One of the best ways to get traffic to your site is to offer valuable content that's updated on a regular basis, so that your visitors are prompted to pay frequent return visits to see what new information you have available. Provide content that's relevant to your industry, such as articles, product reviews, or "how-to" advice columns -- anything you think your visitors will find useful or entertaining.

As you develop your collection of written content, consider placing it in a searchable archive so that your visitors can access past articles and product reviews. This will encourage people to think of your site not only as a place where they can buy things, but also as a valuable source of information.

You should also consider offering other free resources to attract your target audience. Remember, the most powerful word in a marketer's arsenal is "free"! The more useful tools and resources you offer your visitors, the more they'll appreciate your site.

Offer fun or helpful interactive tools that relate to the purpose of your site. For example:

If you sell recipe books or kitchenware, include a measurement converter that easily allows people to convert imperial measurements to metric and vice versa.

If you sell scuba gear or sailing goods, link to current tide and weather information.

If you sell books on philosophy or self-improvement, include IQ tests or quizzes that determine personality types.

This strategy tends to be better for getting repeat traffic than for attracting new visitors, but if you include a "tell-a-friend" button with your interactive traffic generator, you may prompt visitors to share the news about your site with others -- and get them to drive new traffic to your site for you!

TACTIC #5:

Increase your site's exposure by swapping links with other sites

If you want your site to be seen by as many potential customers as possible, try to get it mentioned on sites they're likely to visit. You want to find sites that are related to yours, but not competing with it.

For example, if you sell ski goggles, try to get your product mentioned on alpine tourism sites, sites that sell skis, boots and poles, and sites that sell winter clothing -- but not on other sites that sell ski goggles!

A great way to get your site mentioned on other sites is to contact those sites directly and offer to "link swap" with them. Tell them you'll put a link to their site on your site if they'll do the same for you. Not only will this generate a lot of increased exposure for your site -- it can also boost your ranking with the search engines.

Search the Web for sites that cater to your niche market -- AND that get a lot of traffic! If you own a souvenir shop, for example, see if you can get your site listed on local hotel and restaurant sites, as well as other travel and hospitality sites tourists are likely to visit.

TACTIC #4:

Get the message out about your site by giving away free content

One of the best ways to make sure your site gets mentioned on other sites is to offer them valuable free content.

Many online business owners are happy to get quality information to put on their site or in their opt-in newsletters so offer them some of the regularly updated content you've posted on your own site (as suggested in Traffic Generation Tactic #6). By providing other site owners with free articles, product reviews, or advice columns, you'll be doing them a favor -- as well as increasing the exposure of your own site!

Try to get your content published on popular web sites or in newsletters that have huge mailing lists. Before you offer your content, do a little research to discover how much traffic the site gets, and how many people subscribe to the site's opt-in newsletter. Try to find out which sites are the "hot spots" in your niche market -- THAT'S where you want your articles to be published!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember, this tactic will ONLY work if you include your contact info and a link to your site at the end of every article! That'll make it easy for people to visit your site and learn more about the products or services you sell -- so make sure that every site or e-zine that publishes your content includes this contact info and link.

TACTIC #3:

Be one of the first sites people see listed when they search
your keywords in the free search engines

The free search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, and MSN are still one of the most effective ways to get the word out about your site. There are lots of different techniques you can use to ensure you get a good ranking with the free search engines. For example, you can...

Submit your site to the free search engines and online directories
Optimize your web site so that it's easily indexed by search engine spiders
Pay close attention to your keyword inclusion and placement
Create content-rich "information pages" to direct traffic to your site
... And these are just a few tactics that will help you improve your search engine ranking! You can spend the time needed to do all this work yourself, or you can use software that will do the job for you, such as WebPosition Gold.

TACTIC #2:

Use e-mail promotions to present your visitors
with offers they CAN'T refuse!

Yes, it's true: E-mail promotions are one of the top two ways to attract qualified traffic to your site. If you have list of customer or subscriber e-mail addresses, then you're set!

People who have visited your site and signed up for your newsletter (or a contest or survey) are far more likely to buy than someone who has never heard of your site before. It's essential that you stay in touch with these people!

Encourage visitors to frequently return to your site by e-mailing them attractive promotional offers, such as e-coupons or discounts on new products you're offering... notification of a sale or a contest you're running... even free services or products you've decided to give away to a limited number of people!

TACTIC #1

Build an army of affiliates to drive TONS of traffic to your site for you!

Without a doubt, an affiliate program is the BEST way to increase your site's exposure! You can get your affiliates to drive qualified traffic to your site using all the techniques we've mentioned so far, as well as other effective advertising techniques that require an initial investment.

You can literally get your affiliates to do ALL your marketing for you! In fact, one of our most successful clients doesn't spend ANY time optimizing his site for the free search engines -- he lets his affiliates do it for him! Many of them go to great lengths to make sure their sites are highly ranked -- and because they all link to his site, they boost his search engine ranking as well!

And the best thing about affiliate programs is that you don't pay your affiliates a dime for all the work they do unless they help you make a sale! It really is a win-win proposition:The more sales your affiliates help you make, the more money they earn as well.

Final thoughts

In order to maximize your site's exposure, it's best to use a combination of the tactics listed above. For example, if you're sending out an e-mail promotion, you may want to include a "tell-a-friend" option in the e-mail so that the people on your mailing list will send the promotion to others. If you have an affiliate program, ask your affiliates to post your articles and product reviews on their sites in order to help you build a reputation for yourself as an industry expert.

Remember: When it comes to online marketing, there are three words you need to keep in mind: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Your site has to be mentioned often in places where your niche market hangs out if you want your site to be seen by as many potential customers as possible.

If you think you could be doing more to boost your site's traffic numbers (and really, who couldn't?), start putting these 10 Traffic Tactics to work for you today -- then sit back and enjoy all that free traffic coming your way!

Pros & Cons of E-Commerce

Riding the information highway is a bit like riding a bike or driving a car. You can get somewhere quicker and easier than you could if you just walked, but there are risks that come with the associated speed and convenience that you need to take into account.

Some of the Pros...

eCommerce is fast! If you are connected to a broadband cable network then there are few things faster in this world than the access that you can get to a world of information and industry. A click of a button and a few flashes of light across your screen and your there! Compare that to the hours of commuting, parking, walking, browsing, negotiating, signing, paying and returning home that regular commerce entails and there is just no comparison.

I hardly shop at regular stores anymore because the convenience of shopping at home FAR outweighs the hassle of going store to store at the mall or supermarket for most things and I don't mind waiting for delivery. If I am organised then except for the few things that a I need RIGHT NOW (or in the next 10min - 2hr, depending on the commuting, parking etc etc involved in making an emergency trip to a store) I can get something online in a few minutes and have it delivered next day in 95% of cases.

eCommerce is safe! The fears that many people continue to harbour in regards to the security of their information are unfounded in the majority of cases.

Yes, if you want to buy something from a site promising something for nothing and the language of the contract or sales letter is written in less than perfect english or is rife with spelling mistakes or vague details then you are asking for trouble - and you can't blame problems that come from this sort of activity on eCommerce just as you wouldn't blame the retail industry for problems that you encounter if you buy something from someone at bar!

If you are running firewall software and you have a clean system and shop on reputable sites then saving for the most unfortunate of cases you and your information is just as safe as if you had bought something from a bricks and mortar store.

eCommerce is cheap! Common sense says that someone who is operating a website with hundreds and thousands of customers across the world will be able to sell for less than someone who has less customers and higher rental and utiltiy expenses from operating a physical premises. Take eBay for example - there are millions of sellers selling millions of products that they sell from the comfort of their homes or small business premises and they sell for about 50% of the price of the big department stores with their huge buying power simply because their overheads are next to $0!

Sure, you will pay the same for an Ipod shopping from Apple's website as you would from Apple's Stores, but they are not exactly about to undercut themselves when they are making heaps of money as it is. There is plenty of competition in cyberspace to keep price at ground level.

eCommerce is global! Where else do you get retailers in Australia competing with small businesses in America and individuals in Japan all in the same industry and over the same products and services. And how else could the average person expect to be able to get access to goods and services from anywhere other than their immediate locality if not for eCommerce! It is the wonder of the modern age and a blessing for businesses and consumers the world over.

Some of the cons...

eCommerce is constantly changing! As I mentioned above there are many traps for people who don't take the time to negotiate the fraudsters that are prevalent in cyberspace. The old saying that 'a sucker is born every minute' has particular meaning in eCommerce because all of the old suckers who had been sucked into every trap and scap in the real world were immediately exposed to the same scams again online when they ventured online for the first time.

As with anything new there is a need for people to get themselves educated and sadly education is one of the biggest small parts of people's lives (though hopefully some of these articles with help with that in some cases). Don't think that just because something exists then it is safe. Learn about the internet and stay with the proven safe roads before going for the road less travelled by and that will make all the difference.

eCommerce is competitive! As with anything where there is the potential for profit and the necessity of competition there is a lot of sharp practice online just as there is in the real world. Advertising, with the same subliminal and blatant enticements is just as prevalent online as it is in the real world and people are getting sucked into spending more than they can afford because access to payment by credit card and buy-now-pay-later schemes are everywhere.

eCommerce should be seen as a blessing to be able to take some of the hassle out of real world business and strict planning and budgeting should be invested in shopping and doing business online just as it has to be done in the real world to avoid defeat.

Personally I don't think that there are many cons in the world of eCommerce - only the same cons that exist in any business or commercial environment - buyer beware - look before you leap - there are a lot of principles that apply in real life that need to be taken online but are left at the login page for some reason. eCommerce is not a computer game where you can just restart if you didn't like the score that you got. Take is seriously and you will only reap the benefits!

Creating the Ultimate Salon Experience

It happens and you can make it happen for your clients as well. There are a few, and I mean only a few stylists that really research how to make the right visual accents so when a customer walks in they just sense that the salon is in tune with what they really want to do, and that is to visually excite people when they walk in to a room. Isn't that what you're offering? To make them that visual reference point that others are in awe of when you cut or color their hair?

How can you do that without breaking the bank? It's really simple, just take a trip to allposters on the web and find some pictures that will enhance your studio. There is so much there that you'll probably have to make a couple of visits before you can decide on what you want to use.

Plan my friend, exactly what type of atmosphere you want to create... and then put it together. I'll never forget the "experiences" I had as a young twenty something in the clothing boutiques of the late sixties and early seventies. I mean the sights, smells, and sounds just kept me wanting to hang around and look at clothes for hours. Did I buy? Most of the time and the total experience was a big part of why.

The next area to discuss is your sound system, not that you have to have some elaborate stereo system but I'll tell you that now with the XM capabilities it's easy to import just exactly the kind of music that pleases you and your customers with just a small monthly expense to pay for the monthly subscription. That's just one of the possibilities. Another is of course you loading your iPod with all kinds of music and setting it in a cradle that delivers stereo to your studio. Is there other ways?

Oh yea, actually too many to even mention them all. But the point is that you want to incorporate music into your salon.

Even right now while I write this I'm listening to Chris Botti so I keep the creative juices flowing, and I know that you can find your source of inspiration as well. Were you even aware that there is such a thing as music therapy? It's real and you know it to be so as music can put you into all kinds of moods... right? Right!
I promise you that your customers will like it as well. You might try to have some different genres available as you'll have a variety of clients in your salon, so be cool and deliver some awesome sounds to your clients.

The last thought today is for kinesthetic or "feeling." How can you create a feel in a studio? Visual and audio will certainly set the stage so to that add some good smells and create a sense of feeling by you presenting yourself as the expert and with your confidence to make your customer into what they wish they were. Can you do that? Don't people fantasize about how they really look and act? Of course they do and when you help them with their hair it gives an incredible edge to that client to go attack their world when they leave you. Learn to touch in ways to adds to your customer's experience. I just wrote an article about a 5 minute shampoo that absolutely makes me feel wonderful.

My normal yearly exercise is to visit as many different salons as I can so I can get as many different ideas as I can as to what exactly is going on in this industry. And then I write about it to you. So I sort of do the research for you and then give you all the best things to build your business with. With all that being said, I can tell you that there are some very good stylists in this industry but as I told my wife last night the very one that I think cut my hair the best wouldn't listen to a single marketing strategy that I gave her. I could have brought in more traffic for her than she could have ever handled but she was stuck in a rut with her own perceptions of how to bring in customers. The interesting thing is that now being 3 years later, she's still trying different things to get customers in the door. I like to keep up on her and her shop, just to see if she will ever find the answer.

You can have so much more by utilizing proven marketing strategies... if you will. But if you won't... well then you're be like my favorite stylist, still looking for more customers for years to come. It doesn't have to be that hard.
